OSGD Gateway is used as Reverse Proxy to OSGD Servers. With small effort you can use the OSGD Gateway as Reverse Proxy to other services like Apache aswell.

Configuration Step 1

Insert a new Include File into the OSGD Gateway Apache configuration:  /opt/SUNWsgdg/httpd/<Apache version>/conf/extra/gateway/httpd-gateway.conf

<VirtualHost localhost:8081>
.......

    ProxyPass /axis !
    ProxyPass /sgd/admin !
    ProxyPass /balancer-manager !

    #######################
    Include conf/reverseProxies.conf
    #######################

    ProxyPass / balancer://mysgdservers/ lbmethod=byrequests stickysession=balanceid
.......

</VirtualHost>

Configuration Step 2

Now you can edit the Include File configuration, in this example "reverseProxies.conf": /opt/SUNWsgdg/httpd/<Apache version>/conf/reverseProxies.conf.conf
For the example we are configuring the Reverse Proxy for Wiki and Webmail services.
